JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE Judgment of the Court was as follows : The petitioner's father was Assistant Teacher in Paraganas Deulpur Primary School and died -in- harness on 28.4.1978.

(2.) THE said deceased left behind him surviving the widow and four minor children.

(3.) THE concerned Sub-Inspector of School recommended the petitioner to the concerned Chairman for his appointment as the family is in financial distress. In spite of the said recommendation, no step was taken which constrained the petitioner to move before this Court by filing W.P. No. 21498(W) of 1999. While disposing of the said application, this Court directed the Director of School Education, West Bengal, to treat the writ petition as representation and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order.
