(1.) The petitioner in this art.226 petition is alleging that though as an occupier of the premises in question he is entitled to supply of electricity, for objection of the private respondents CESC has not given him supply.
(2.) Mr Mallick appearing for the petitioner submits that the documents produced with the petition will show that the petitioner is in settled possession of the property.
(3.) Counsel for CESC submits that before filing the petition the petitioner did not produce the documents to show that he was in settled possession of the property, though by a notice CESC asked him to produce proof of his settled possession. He says that the application for supply will be decided by CESC according to law.
