JUDGEMENT

(1.) Grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is the non-adherence of the provisions contained under Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995.

(2.) According to the petitioner, the authorities should have kept 3% of the total vacancies reserved for physically disabled persons and having not done so, the selection process undertaken by them is liable to be quashed and set aside.

(3.) A comprehensive representation in this regard is made by the petitioner to the Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24 Parganas but the same has not been considered and disposed of.
