JUDGEMENT

(1.) In M.A.C. Case No. 33 of 2007, the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, First Court, Krishnagar by Judgment and Order under Appeal dated 26/11/2009 passed an award for Rs. 3,00,000/- in favour of the Appellants.

(2.) Applying the default Clause, interest (a) 7% per annum was directed to be paid on the amount in the event the award was not cleared within three years from the date of receipt of the Order of the Tribunal.

(3.) According to Shri Banerjee, the Appellants are the widow and the parents of the Deceased, who was the sole earning member of the family.
