JUDGEMENT

(1.) The judgment of the Court was as follows:

(2.) The Plaintiff-Respondents filed a suit, claiming maintenance land for declaration of their right of residence. This claim has been allowed and the Defendant has appealed to this Court.

(3.) The parties belong to an ancient family in the district of Murshidabad known as Jemo Kandi Raj family. The Raj family is divided into five groups, but in the present proceedings we are concerned with two amongst these five groups. The following genealogical table indicates the relationship between the parties:
