JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been initiated by the writ petitioner praying for a suitable order from this High Court directing the National Textile Corporation (for short NTC) to appoint him in the service of NTC on compassionate ground.

(2.) The case of the petitioner is that his father was an employee in NTC and lied in harness. According to the petitioner his father expired on 21.3.1987 leaving behind six dependant members of his family. The petitioner in paragraph 5 of the writ petition stated-

(3.) The petitioner on 10.5.1988 submitted an application to NTC praying for his absorption in the service of NTC in any post at least in the category of Group 'D' on compassionate ground. In his application dated 10.5.1988 the petitioner stated that his father was only earning member of his family and it had become almost impossible on part of the petitioner to manage such a big family at the high price level existing at that material time and that he might be employed in NTC commensurate with his merits so that the ruining family may be saved.
