JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. N Majumder, learned counsel appearing for the appellant-husband as well as Mr. Raju Datta, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-wife.

(2.) During pendency of the present appeal, this Court tried to resolve the disputes amicably, with a view that good sense would prevail over the couple, and sent them for mediation vide order dtd. 27/11/2018, but the same yielded no result.

(3.) However, in course of hearing of the appeal, both the parties agreed to appear before the learned Mediator on 5/4/2019 so that they could arrive at an amicable settlement.
