JUDGEMENT

(1.) The instant revision petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the judgment and order dated 22.04.2015 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, West Tripura, Agartala in Criminal Appeal No.56/2014 whereby the learned Sessions Judge affirmed the judgment and order of conviction dated 27.08.2014 passed by the learned Court of Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Tripura, Agartala in case No. N.I. 67/2007 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act (for short, "the NI Act") and reduced the sentence to pay fine from Rs.2,00,000/-, to Rs.1,25,000/-, in default of payment of fine to suffer SI for three months.

(2.) Heard Mr. Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. S Lodh, learned counsel for the respondent-complainant. Also heard Mr. A Ghosh, learned PP for the respondent No.2.

(3.) As agreed to by the learned counsel for the parties, this revision petition is taken up for final disposal at this stage.
