JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. S. Lodh, learned counsel appearing for the applicants. Also heard Mr. Raju Datta, learned PP appearing for the respondent-State.

(2.) The present applicants, Sri Raju Sarkar and Sri Sayan Roy, have been arrested on 10/7/2024 in connection with Amtali Police Station case no. 2024 AMT 087, registered under Ss. 103/3(6)/61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, on the basis of a complaint lodged by one Sri Abhijit Shil, the younger brother of the deceased.

(3.) In the complaint, it is alleged that the elder brother of the complainant was murdered by one Sri Babul Acharjee with the help of the present two applicants.
