MALAY PAL Vs. STATE OF TRIPURA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Petitioner is a Government school teacher. He has filed this petition for claiming medical reimbursement and travel allowance bills for the treatment he underwent in private hospitals at Agartala as well as outside the State. These reimbursements have not been granted to him by the Government primarily on the ground that before taking such treatment the petitioner had not obtained referral order from the Standing Medical Board.

(3.) The petitioner had to incur huge medical expenditure as also cost of transportation for such treatment. He, therefore, presented medical reimbursement and travel allowance bills to the Government. The bills submitted by the petitioner which have remained are as under :
