(3.) Petitioner entered the service of respondent no.1 Board in the year 1963 as Assistant Engineer and by order dated 13.05.1963 his pay was fixed in the pay scale of Rs.300-300-25-400-EB-30-700. Later on petitioner was promoted to the post of Divisional Engineer and to the post of Superintendent Engineer about this fact there is no dispute.
