JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner Association has filed this petition against the order dt.6th February 2012 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal in Original Application No.485/2009.

(2.) THE petitioner association filed an original application before the Central Administrative Tribunal to the effect that duties, responsibilities of audit officers and senior audit officers are different in comparison to Assistant Audit Officers, however, vide order dt. 28.2.2003 pay scales of Auditor, Senior Auditor, Section Officer and Assistant Audit Officer were revised leaving behind the Audit Officer and Senior Audit Officer, hence, an anomaly is created in the pay scale. CAG vide letter dt.29.1.2008 made recommendations in favour of the petitioner, that has not been considered.

(3.) THE Tribunal rejected the claim of the petitioner association.
