JUDGEMENT

(1.) IN this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 22.6.2011 (Annexure P/1), order dated 17.11.2009 (Annexure P/2) and order dated 2.7.2011 (Annexure P/3). By Annexure P/2, an amount of Rs.2,30,580/- is directed to be recovered from the petitioner. It is modified to Rs. 1,62,450/- by Annexure P/3. By issuance of Annexure P/1 it is directed that entire pay of the petitioner should be withheld unless he deposits the amount of Rs.1,62,450/-.

(2.) THE petitioner was served with a show cause notice dated 16.6.2006 (Annexure P/10) by Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jila Panchayat, Guna. It is alleged against the petitioner that he unnecessarily purchased the decomposed kits and certain other material which caused loss to the Government to the tune of Rs.

(3.) PER Contra, Smt. Sangita Pachauri, learned Deputy Government Advocate, supported the impugned orders.
