(1.) THE petitioner has also categorically stated that petitioner does not wish to practice as an advocate.

IN return, the respondent/University has stated that in the light of the letter received from the State Bar Council of M.P., the petitioner's form has been rejected and the University has permitted regular candidate only. On perusal, of letter (Annexure R -1), it is apparent that it has been requested to University for scrapping this provision allowing the private candidates to appear in the LL.B. Examination degree course to the students whether male or female. The University is unable to point out that in pursuance of the aforesaid letter, the University has taken any steps for scrapping the provisions allowing the women candidates to appear in the LL.B. Examination as private candidate. In absence of any amendment to the Rules, Ordinance of the University, the petitioner's form could not be. rejected.
(3.) COPY of the order be sent to the M.P. State Bar Council.
