KHUSHYAL Vs. STATE OF MADHYA PRADESH

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This appeal under Section 14-A(1) of SC/ST Act has been filed for grant of bail to the appellant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 164/2020 for offences punishable under Sections 304/34 of IPC and under Section 3(2)(v) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 registered at Police Station- Betul Bazar District-Betul.

(2.) The appellants are in judicial custody since 07.07.2020 in the aforesaid case and the charge-sheet has been filed inter alia, the appellants are charged with offence under Section 304/34 of IPC.

(3.) The case of the prosecution was that the deceased was going to meet his sister on 30-06-2020 and on the way he reached village Surgoan because his motor-cycle had broken down and he had taken a lift to village Surgoan.
