JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner, by way of present petition, seeks direction to respondent-Rani Durgavati University (referred as 'University') to re-evaluate his answer script of Legal Theory (Jurisprudence Comparative Law).

(2.) The facts reveal that the petitioner, a senior manager in the Indian Bank, has been pursuing his part-time LL.B. Degree course from Nilkanth Law College, Jabalpur. He appeared in second attempt of his third semester examination, the result whereof was declared on 13.06.2019, whereon he found that he has failed in Legal Theory (Jurisprudence Comparative Law). On filing the application, certified copy of the answer script was served on the petitioner.

It is the contention of the petitioner that on verifying the answer script, he found that there were apparent irregularities and deliberate overwriting for marks allocation as compared to marks totaling with regard to Question No.1, 3 and 7. It is contended that in Question No.1, some illegible marks has been assigned which has been construed as 4 during re-totaling. In Question No.3, 7 marks were initially allotted which has been overwritten and changed to 5. And, in Question No.7, no legible marks have been assigned. It is urged that the petitioner applied for revaluation. However, no action has been taken thereon. Aggrieved whereof, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction for revaluation.
