JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner filed this writ petition questioning the non-publication of the results of the students, who appeared for E.D.C.E.T.-99 with hall ticket Nos.4253312 to 423555, under the impression that something went wrong somewhere.

(2.) The respondent filed his counter.

(3.) In the counter it is categorically stated that while some of the students in between the above hall ticket numbers failed in the examination some of them got rank more than 20,000. As per the guidelines issued by the Government, the Convenor has published the results upto the rank of 20,000 in the newspapers and rank cards were also sent to all the qualified candidates.
