(1.) According to the petitioner, he married Miss. Divya, daughter of Sri Singi Reddy Laxmana Reddy. According to petitioner, relationship between the petitioner and the family of his wife was strained and at the instance of the then Public Prosecutor, arrayed as 7th respondent, he was abused by the family members and demanded 50.00 lakhs or registration of Ac.4.00 agriculture land; that they caught hold of him and committed criminal acts by beating him very severely and forced him to go to the Registrar Office and execute sale deed against his wishes and it is illegal and unjustified. Narrating in detail the events that lead to such illegal registration and beating, complaint dated 04.05.2017 was filed with the Superintendent of Police, Bhuvanagiri-Yadagiri district, followed by other complaints. The substance of allegations in the complaint is demanding money or registration of Ac.4.00 of agriculture land and failure to do so, they threatened him to kill him and his family members. He named 25 persons as responsible for committing the said offences. From Exhibit P5, it is seen that on 01.09.2017, the Station House Officer, Valigonda P.S., informed the petitioner that on 03.05.2017, his mother reported the same incident in writing as reported by him in his complaint dated 3.5.2017, which was received by the Police on 15.05.2017 and based on the complaint filed by the mother, GD entry was made on 04.05.2017 and permission was sought from the Judicial Magistrate of First Class at Ramannapet for investigation on the crime registered as the matter is non-cognizable offence and accordingly permission was obtained. They have explained delay in investigating into the complaint on the ground that during the said period, Bakrid and Vinayaka Chavithi festivals were to be celebrated and required Police to provide additional Bando-Basth during those festivities.

Based on the written instructions furnished by the Sub- Inspector of Police, Valigonda P.S., dated 6.12.2017, learned Government Pleader submits that after completion of investigation, petty case charge sheet was filed in the Court of Judicial Magistrate of First Class at Ramannapet and would submit that prompt action was taken on the complaint lodged by the mother of petitioner against petitioner's wife and her relatives.
(3.) Learned Government Pleader furnished the copy of the charge sheet filed. The submission of learned Government Pleader and the perusal of the charge sheet would show that there was no negligence on the part of Police in investigating into the crime as sought to be alleged by the petitioner, warranting interference by this Court. Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedy as available in law on any subsisting grievance. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
