(1.) C.M.P. 877/55 is an application under section 151, C.P. Code and section 5(7)(a) and (c) of Madras Act VI of 1949 to direct the respondent to pay to the petitioner and her children a sum of Rs. 100 per month towards interim maintenance pending C.M.A. No. 68/55 on the file of the High Court.
(2.) C.M.P. No. 878/55 is also an application under section 151, C.P. Code and section 5(7)(a) and (c) of Act VI of 1949 to direct the Respondent to pay a sum of Rs. 500 towards expenses for prosecuting the C.M.A. No. 68/55 on the file of the High Court against the decision of the Additional Subordinate Judge, Chittoor, in O.P. 32/52.

No. 32/52 was filed by the respondent in the above petitions under section (1)(b) of the Hindu (Bigamy Prevention and Divorce) Act of 1949 for the dissolution of his marriage with the first respondent Chennamma, on the ground that she is being kept as a concubine of the 2nd respondent. The learned Subordinate Judge held on the evidence that the 1st respondent was unchaste and was being kept as concubine of the 2nd respondent in Buchamma's house at Punganur and held that under section 5(1)(b)of the Hindu (Bigamy Prevention and Divorce) Act, 1949, the wife being kept as a concubine of another man is a ground for dissolution of the marriage and in that view, directed in dissolution. The 1st respondent preferred C.M.A. No. 68/55 in the High Court and pending the appeal she has filed these application for direction with regard to the payment to her of the sums aforementioned.
