JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application filed for the issue of a writ of certiorari to quash the order of the Vice-Chancellor, Andhra University, dated 25th May, 1972.

(2.) The relevant facts are that the petitioner is an Upper Division Clerk employed in the Andhra University, B-IV Section. He was charge-sheeted on 14th November, 1969. The charge was that he has altered - the sessional marks of one student Subba Raju, having Register No.1236 for B.E. Final Examination in Electronics and Tele-communication in the examination held in September- October, 1969. It is alleged that this was done with a view to alter the result.

(3.) On the same date, that is, on 14th November, 1969, he was put under suspension.
