(1.) THE petitioner herein seeks extension of parole, for which he has submitted a representation on 11.8.2014, which was received in the Home Department on 12.8.2014. The petitioner submits that his mother has suffered serious coronary ailment requiring to undergo bypass surgery as soon as possible. He, therefore, sought for extension of his parole by 60 days. It is stated that the petitioner was convicted by the learned I Additional Sessions Judge, Nizamabad for the offence under Section 302 I.P.C. in SC No. 307 of 2009 and that the appeal preferred by him against the said judgment in Criminal Appeal No. 254 of 2011 is still pending in this Court. It is stated that the petitioner has been maintaining a decent conduct during his internment period.

BE that as it may, in the facts and circumstances narrated by the petitioner including the deteriorating health condition and hospitalization of his mother, I consider that the ends of justice would be met adequately if the petitioner is granted extension of parole till 15.9.2014, by which date I hope and trust that the Government would deal with his representation dated 11.8.2014 and would pass appropriate orders and communicate the same to the petitioner. For any reason, if the Government refuses to grant extension or restricts the extension till 15.9.2014, the petitioner shall surrender before the Superintendent, Central Prison, Nizamabad, latest by 5.00 p.m., on 15.9.2014.
(3.) THE writ petition stands disposed of with this order after hearing the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, State of Telangana. No order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
