(2.) Brief facts of the case are that'the petitioner promised to marry the defacto complainant and both of them moved around various places. Subsequently, petitioner refused to marry her. Basing on the report given by the defacto complainant, police registered a case in Cr.No.247 of 2021 against the petitioner and investigated into.

(3.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent / State.
