JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS is a complainant's appeal and is directed against order dated 5/5/14 of the Lr. North Goa District Forum by which the complainant's consumer complaint has been dismissed on two preliminary objections, raised by Respondent/OP No. 1.

(2.) SOME facts are required to be stated to dispose off this appeal and for that, the parties are being referred to in the names as they appear in the cause title of the complaint.

(3.) THE complainant is a businessman doing his business in the name and style of Classic Dot Com. The complainant purchased, on or about 11/10/10, a printer/copier after negotiations, from the local office of OP No. 1, a Konica Minolta Bizhub C 200, manufactured by OP No. 2, for a sum of Rs. 2,52,000/ - inclusive of all taxes and installation. The purchase was made through OP No. 1's Sales Officer Shri. Kavish Surlakar, on certain terms and conditions, with a free service period of 90 days from the date of installation.
