JUDGEMENT

(1.) The brief facts of the case is that West Garo Jinjiram Fishery was settled with the petitioner vide office Order No. 187 dated Tura the 14-02- 2018 for a period of three years w.e.f., 2018-2019, 2019-2020 and 2020- 2021. In pursuance thereto, the petitioner deposited the kist amount and started operating the same.

(2.) However, vide order dated 15th November 2017 passed by the respondent No. 2, the said settlement was cancelled without recording any reasons or opportunity given to the petitioner to be heard. Being aggrieved thereby, the petitioner has approached before this Court by way of this writ petition.

(3.) I have heard learned counsels for the parties.
