JUDGEMENT

(1.) In compliance to various directions issued from time to time, the Disrict Monitoring Committee which was constituted is continuously conducted local inspections.

(2.) Construction of soak pits by various shop owners, individual households, industries, institutions, private hotels, petrol pumps, car washing, toiletries etc. according to the report of District Monitoring Committee have been completed, PHE department has to take follow action regularly.

(3.) Deputy Commissioner in the affidavit as referred to in the order dated 18.02.2019 has stated that continuous monitoring through District Monitoring Committee shall be carried out on regular basis so as to avoid indiscriminate discharge of solid and liquid waste into Umran river.
