(1.) Heard Mr. H.S.Thangkhiew, learned Sr. counsel assisted by Mr. Philemon Nongbri, learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner as well as Mr. K.Paul, learned standing counsel for the respondents.

Thangkhiew, learned Sr. counsel, assisted by Mr. Philemon Nongbri, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that initially an advertisement was floated for an interview to the post of Assistant Professor, but the petitioner was verbally informed that he was not eligible for the post. Ultimately, the interview is fixed on 01.05.2018. Hence, this petition.
