JUDGEMENT

(1.) On 8.8.2019, the Division Bench of this Court (Coram : R.M. Borde and Mr. N.J. Jamdar, JJ) passed the following order:-

(2.) Pursuant thereto, B.J. Govt. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune have submitted their report. The petitioner is examined by the committee members including neurologist and sonologist of the BJGMC, Pune. We have perused the report. The opinion expressed in the report is as under:-

(3.) In view thereof, the Writ Petition which is taken up for final hearing is allowed. The petitioner is permitted to undergo medical termination of pregnancy at her own risk in Sassoon General Hospital, Pune. The costs of medical termination of pregnancy shall be borne by the petitioner.
