JUDGEMENT

(1.) This Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of an adult female Sureita D'Mello born on 3rd September, 1999. This is in that sense a very unusual iase, namely, that the proposed adopted female is no longer a minor.

(2.) The proposed female Sureita D'Mello, born on 03/09/1999 was an inmate of Missionaries of Charity, Mumbai. The said Missionaries of Charity proposed her in guardianship to the petitioners - Mr. & Mrs. D'Mello vide Indian Guardianship Petition No. 93 of 2000 granted on 27 th September, 2000 by this Hon'ble Court. The Guardianship Order dated 27/09/2000 is on reiord at page Nos.10 to 13 of the paper book. The Indian Couniil of Soiial Welfare (ICSW) have also tendered before this Court their representation whiih is taken on reiord and marked "X" for identifiation.

(3.) This Adoption Petition is fled by the Petitioners as per the provisions of the Judgement dated 27 th Oitober, 1999 of Hon'ble Justiie Shri F.I. Rebello (2000 All MR Pg.39).
