Decided On August 12, 2008
Shankar Namdeorao Umredkar Appellant
V/S
EDUCATION OFFICER Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Both these matters are pertaining to the salary of the petitioner who was a teacher in Vishwanath High School i.e. petitioner in Writ Petition No. 231 of 1994. The petitioner was working as a High School Teacher since 01.07.1975 and possessed a requisite qualification, therefore, a proposal for seeking approval to the post was sent by the Management to respondent No. 2 as on 13.09.1993 through Education Officer. However, respondent No. 2 Deputy Director of Education rejected the said application of the petitioner on the ground that no proper approval of the office was obtained.

(2.) Petitioner has also thereafter preferred present Writ Petition. By order dated 19.01.1995 this Court while admitting the Writ Petition has passed the following order:

(3.) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner makes a statement that the petitioner in Writ Petition No. 1844 of 1994 in pursuance to this order enjoyed the post and all the benefits and now retired. In view of this we see no reason now to disturb the position as enjoyed by the petitioner throughout in pursuance to the order passed by this Court. Petition is accordingly disposed of.
