JUDGEMENT

(1.) By this first appeal, the appellants challenge the judgment passed by the 2nd Civil Judge (Senior Division), Amravati on 07.09.1995 in Land Acquisition Case No.5/1987, whereby, a part of the claim of the appellants for enhancement of compensation for the acquisition of their lands was denied.

(2.) Few facts giving rise to the first appeal are stated thus--

(3.) The State denied the claim of the appellants by filing a written statement. According to the non-applicants, the claim was exaggerated and the case was liable to be dismissed.
