ANJANABAI MAHADEO KUNJIR Vs. STATE OF MAHARASHTRA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. Sabrad, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Sawant, learned AGP for the State.

(2.) The petition is filed for seeking directions to respondent No.2 to direct his officers to delete the entries of reservation for the project affected persons from the other rights column of the 7/12 extract of the land bearing gat No.249/1 admeasuring 22R, situated at Mouje Hinjwadi, Taluka Mulshi, District Pune.

(3.) Mr. Sawant, learned AGP, on instructions, makes a statement that though notification under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1984 was issued on 3rd December, 1982, the award under Section 12 of the said Act never came to be passed. Even otherwise, the acquisition has lapsed.
