JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

(2.) This is an application for bail by the applicant in connection with First Information Report (FIR) No.322 of 2021 dtd. 10/07/2021, registered with Chikhli Police Station, Pimpri-Chinchwad, for the offence punishable under Ss. 498-A, 306, 323, 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

(3.) The FIR was registered on 10/07/2021. The marriage was solemnised on 18/10/2020 and the deceased committed suicide on 01/04/2021. In the FIR, it is alleged that on 01/04/2020 the deceased informed her mother/complainant that the applicant was demanding a sum of Rs.2,00,000.00 (in words Rupees Two Lakhs) for the business purpose. There are further allegations that the deceased suspected the applicant of having an extramarital affair.
