(2.) This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report (FIR) in crime No.356 of 2023 registered with the Kondhali Police Station, Nagpur Rural for the offence punishable under Ss. 376 , 376(2)(n) , 312 , 506 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

(3.) The informant lady aged 23 years has lodged the report on 29/4/2023 alleging the offence of rape. It is her contention that four months preceding to the first occurrence, she got acquainted with the applicant through Instagram. Their casual acquaintance turned into love relationship. On 14/2/2023, the applicant called in the informant to one lodge house where under the promise of marriage had established sexual relations. The things were repeated on later two occasions.
