JUDGEMENT

(1.) Rule returnable forthwith. Heard by consent of the parties.

(2.) The short question of law that arises for consideration in this petition is as to what is the relevant date for the purpose of calculation of period of thirty days provided under Rule 18 of the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 1988 ('the Rules' for short).

(3.) Briefly stated, the question arises in the following circumstances.
