JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. Diniz, learned Senior Advocate for the petitioners.

(2.) Mr. Anil Singh learned Additional Solicitor General of India appears on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 5 and Mr. D. Pangam, learned Advocate General appears for respondent Nos. 6 to 8.

(3.) The petitioner had instituted this petition seeking pensionary benefits. However, the petitioner expired before the receipt of such benefits, and this petition is now pursued by his legal representatives.
