JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. Varun Bhandankar for the Petitioner, Mr. Shubham Priolkar, Addl. Govt. Advocate for Respondents No.1, 2 and 3, Mr. A.D. Bhobe for Respondent No.4-Panchayat and Mr. Abhay Nachinolkar for Respondent No.5.

(2.) The complaint, in this Petition, was about inaction on the part of Respondent No.4-Panchayat and the continuance of construction activity by Respondent No.5, despite the stop-work order issued by the Panchayat.

(3.) Mr. Bhobe states that no sooner the Panchayat received the complaint, a stop-work order was issued on 14/10/2022. Mr. Nachinolkar states that presently no construction activity is going on at the site and further, no such activity will be undertaken at the site, without obtaining necessary permissions or justification to the Authorities that the existing permissions suffice for undertaking such constructions.
