(1.) Heard learned counsel for the parties.
(2.) The petitioners have been protected by an injunction order dtd. 20/4/2016 in Civil Suit No.12/2016 (Annexure P2 at page 99 onwards). They complain that the respondent nos.7 and 8, despite injunction order, are interfering with the petitioners' activities particularly during the annual Jatrotsav held at the temple. They seek police protection and appointment of suitable Government officer as a receiver for receiving, securing and maintaining all the receivables including cash, gold, sarees, perishable valuables and other items during the annual Jatrotsav of Shree Devi Navadurga, Madkai.
(3.) Mr Supekar, learned counsel for respondent nos.7 and 8 denies the allegations made by the petitioners. He states that the respondents whom he represents have never done any acts in breach of the injunction order nor will they do any acts in breach of the injunction order. Without prejudice he submits that the so-called apprehensions of the petitioners stand addressed by the order dtd. 11/11/2022 issued by the District Magistrate, South Goa. He places this order on record.
