(1.) We have heard Ms. Sheetal Shah, the petitioner, who appears in person, for almost an hour. She insisted that her mentioning praecipe be heard first and prayers therein be considered i.e. from prayer clauses A to Rs.of the said praecipe. She insisted that after the said prayers are decided, she will proceed with the main matter i.e. Criminal Writ Petition No. 1541 of 2020.
(2.) Perused the praecipe for mentioning and heard Ms. Sheetal Shah on the said praecipe. The Hon'ble Supreme Court vide Order dated 13.07.2020 passed in Criminal Writ Petition No. 175 Of 2020 (Sheetal Bhagyawant Punde Devang Shah Vs. Union of India and Anr.), transferred the said writ petition to this Court with a direction to the Registry of this Court to place the papers before the Hon'ble Chief Justice for issuing appropriate directions regarding listing of the case before the appropriate bench including to take necessary corrective administrative measures, as may be required. In view of the urgency involved, Registry of the Supreme Court was directed to transmit the papers to the Registrar General of this Court through e-mail/on-line forthwith. As prayed by the Petitioner liberty was granted to make a mention before the Hon'ble Chief Justice of this Court. Pursuant to the order dated 13.07.2020 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the Hon'ble Chief Justice constituted the present bench comprising of (S.S. SHINDE and SMT. REVATI MOHITE DERE, JJ.) for hearing the said Criminal Writ Petition No. 1541 of 2020 (transferred from the Apex Court) and Criminal Writ Petition No. 6115 of 2019 alongwith the Interim Application filed therein.
(3.) We called upon Ms. Sheetal Shah to argue her Criminal Writ Petition No. 1541 of 2020 which was transferred by the Hon'ble Supreme Court to this Court vide order dated 13.07.2020. Ms. Sheetal Shah insisted that her praecipe for mentioning be considered first and only thereafter she will proceed to argue the main matter i.e. Criminal Writ Petition No. 1541 of 2020. Accordingly, we heard Ms. Sheetal Shah on the praecipe, wherein she Bhagyawant Punde has prayed for several reliefs.
