GAYATRI RAVINDRA BHAMARE Vs. STATE OF MAHARASHTRA.

JUDGEMENT

(1.) These are the applications under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the wife, her mother, her sister, husband of the sister and the maternal uncle of the deceased who committed suicide on 28.12.2019, seeking bail in the event of their arrest in connection with Crime No. 166/2019, registered with Songir Police Station, District Dhule for the offences punishable under Section 306 , 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

(2.) The deceased was married to the applicant Gayatri on 18.02.2018. It is alleged that since inception the deceased was being harassed for some reason or the other, more so as Gayatri and her mother used to attribute his mother of stealing household articles. It is alleged that all the accused had subjected him to persistent harassment which he could not bear and committed suicide by leaving behind a suicide note blaming all of them for instigating him to commit suicide.

(3.) An F.I.R. was lodged by his step brother and the crime was registered. The applicants are now apprehending that they would be arrested.
