GAJANAN Vs. STATE OF MAHARASHTRA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Shri Daga, learned Counsel for the applicants and Shri Joshi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, through Video conferencing.

(2.) The applicants are said to be arrested in Crime No. 24/2020 registered at Police Station Tamgaon, District - Buldhana, for the offence punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 149, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951.

(3.) The Prosecution story in short is that the deceased - Dnyaneshwar was in love affair with daughter of co-accused No. 1. The co-accused No. 1 arranged marriage of his daughter with some other boy. Just two days prior to the date of marriage of his daughter, which was fixed on 07/02/2020, the deceased Dnyaneshwar had hidden himself into the house of co-accused No. 1 - Prabhakar Mahadev Dhul.
