JUDGEMENT

(1.) SUDHIR Narain, J. This appeal has been filed against order dated 23-10-1998 granting Rs. 25,000/- as interim compensa tion under Section 140 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

(2.) I have heard Shri Kuldip Shanker Amist, learned counsel for the appellant. It is submitted that the appellant is not liable to pay the amount as the compensa tion is being claimed on account of injury caused to Master Raju while he was sitting in another truck. The Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (in short as Tribunal) has considered this aspect of the matter. It is an interim award. I do not find any legal infir mity.
