JUDGEMENT

(1.) This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking the quashing of entire proceeding of complaint case no. 253 of 2018 (Mahendra Singh Vs. Amit Kumar), under Section 138 Negotiable Instruments Act, P.S. Tronika City, District Ghaziabad as well as the order dated 3.7.2018 pending before the Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Court No. 4/Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ghaziabad. Further prayer has been made to stay the further proceedings of the aforesaid case.

(2.) It is submitted that entire proceeding of aforesaid complaint is an abuse of process of law. It is next submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant was summoned under Section 138 Negotiable Instrument Act. Total amount of the cheque in question is Rs. 1,80,000/- and applicant is ready and willing to pay the entire amount, therefore, matter may be referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of the District Court concerned.

(3.) I have considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and perused the entire record carefully.
