JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the select list dated 14.11.2008 declared by the opposite parties in pursuance of a selection held for the post of Music Teacher in Kendriya Vidalaya.

(2.) It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri M.E. Khan that an advertisement was published in the employment news on 18.1.2008 inviting applications for recruitment on various posts in Kendriya Vidalaya.

(3.) In the said advertisement, One hundred and six posts of Music Teachers were also advertised. Fifty six of such posts were unreserved whereas twenty six were kept for OBC, fifteen for Scheduled Caste, and seven for Scheduled Tribe candidates. The last date for submission of such application form was 15.2.2008. The petitioner applied and was allotted Roll No. 2702560002. She qualified the written examination held on 24.5.2008, and was issued a call letter for interview which was to be held in New Delhi on 14.10.2008. The petitioner participated in the interview. The final result of the selection was declared on 14.11.2008 on the Internet. The petitioner's name did not find place.
