(1.) Case called out in the revised list. No one appears on behalf of the revisionist to press this criminal revision. Learned A.G.A. representing the State is present.
(2.) This criminal revision has been filed challenging the order dated 30.9.2002 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Pilibhit in Criminal Appeal No. 39 of 1998 (Suraj Pal Vs. State of U.P.), whereby the aforesaid appeal has been dismissed. Challenge is also to the order dated 4.5.1998 passed by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pilibhit/Special Magistrate (Economic Offences Act) in Criminal Appeal No. 325 of 1997, under sections 7(1) / 16(1)(A)(1) of Food Adulteration Act, whereby the revisionist has been convicted and consequently awarded six months imprisonment along with fine of Rs.1000/-. On failure to pay the fine, the accused is to undergo three months further rigorous imprisonment.
