JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Sri Vijay Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ran Vijay Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

(2.) Sri Vijay Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner has filed rejoinder affidavit, today in the Court, the same is taken on record.

(3.) By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has assailed the order dated 05.10.2019 passed by the District Magistrate, Raebareli thereby rejecting the claim of the petitioner for promotion on the post of Administrative Officer and Senior Administrative Officer with effect from when the juniors to the petitioner have been promoted on the said post on the ground that the post of Administrative Officer is not available. The impugned order further provides that for giving the notional promotion to the petitioner the ad hoc/ temporary post would be required to be created, for that, the guidelines from the Commissioner, Rural Development, U.P., Lucknow would be needed.
