JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Shri S.N. Tripathi, counsel for the petitioner and Shri Ajay Kumar Singh for the caveator-respondent.

(2.) The petition arises out of an objection under Section 12 of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act filed on the death of the recorded tenure holder, Uma Shankar Rai, filed by Anarkali, the widow of the deceased tenure holder.

(3.) The objection was contested by the petitioner, claiming on the basis of an unregistered will allegedly executed in his favour by the deceased Uma Shankar Rai on 28.06.1995.
