JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Sri Vinod Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Rajnish Kumar Rai, learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 to 4.

(2.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner assailing the order dated 01.03.2017 passed by respondent no. 3 rejecting the claim of petitioner, pursuant to direction of this Court dated 13.12.2016.

Facts as disclosed in the petition are that an advertisement was issued by respondent no. 3 for recruitment of constables (GD) in Railway Protection Force, pursuant to which petitioner applied and was selected. Before proceeding for training, petitioner submitted an attestation form, wherein in Column 12 he did not disclose his character and antecedents, vis-a-vis case crime no. 204/ 11 under Section 323, 324, 325, 504 and 506 IPC, PS- Gonda, Aligarh. Petitioner was asked to join training at training center ALO. Police verification report was sought from District Magistrate Aligarh wherein it was found that petitioner was tried and acquitted under Sections 323, 324, 325, 504 and 506 IPC, PS Gonda, Aligarh in Case Crime No. 204 of 2011. In midst of training he was discharged on 04.06.2015.
