(1.) HEARD learned Counsel for the petitioners. Learned Standing Counsel appears for the respondents.

(2.) BY this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for quashing the or der dated 23.9.2008 of the District Magistrate, Mirzapur, by which the select list of 'Safai Karmis' the Group-'D' posts in the district of Mirzapur were can celled.

(3.) THE order of the District Magistrate, Mirzapur dated 23.9.2008 chal lenged in this writ petition was quashed and that the respondents were di rected to give appointments to the petitioners in pursuance to select list dated 14.9.2008, published on 15.9.2008.
