JUDGEMENT

(1.) ON deposit of Rs. 5 lakhs within a period of four weeks from date, the demand raised by the department shall remain stayed. On deposit being made, the Tribunal shall hear the appeal on merits within a period of two months from the date of said deposit.

(2.) WITH these observations the writ petition is disposed of finally. No order as to costs.
