(1.) Heard Sri Ateeq Ahmad Khan, learned counsel for the defendant-petitioner.
(2.) This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for following relief:-

Briefly stated facts of the present case are that undisputedly Shop No. 5, Ward No. 13, Gopalpura, Shamshabad Fatehabad Road, in front of Shamshabad police station, Tehsil- Fatehabad, District- Agra, is owned by the plaintiff-respondent. He is the owner and landlord of the said shop, of which the defendant-petitioner is a tenant. On the allegation that the defendant-tenant has not paid agreed rent of Rs. 500/- per month w. e. f. 1. 2009 and the water tax, the plaintiff-landlord/respondent issued a notice dated 22. 4. 2013 to the defendant-petitioner whereby the tenancy was determined and arrears of rent were demanded.
